Our Retail Nursery is an integral part of the Billabong Garden Complex providing a high quality retail sales outlet for its propagation nursery to access the general community.
Billabong’s retail nursery has an extensive range of plants, pots and garden accessories. Many of the plants within our retail nursery are grown on site within our propagation nursery therefore are adapted to and suited to local conditions therefore ideal for local gardens.
Our selection of plant species is large and varied, ranging from indigenous natives (local native species) through to exotics. You can also purchase plants in varying size pots from 55mm tubes right though to100lt bags of advanced stock, and during the winter months there is also large stocks of bare rooted varieties such as roses, weepers, fruit trees and ornamentals.
At Billabong we aim to provide you with all the advice and assistance you need to make your garden your favourite place to be. Our free advice and our large range can equip you with all you need to ‘Do It Yourself’ or we have garden designers and a garden maintenance team that can ‘Do It for You’.

Our staff are experienced and qualified and have a wealth of knowledge, able to provide you with all the tips and tricks that you need to make your garden grow. All staff have specialist skills and can assist you with design, plant selection and maintenance.
At Billabong we have numerous display areas aimed at providing customers with ideas and inspiration for their own gardens. The displays change quarterly and with each change will be a different garden theme, the introduction of new lines and some fantastic ideas.
At Billabong we have hundreds of advanced trees and shrubs to choose from to create the perfect garden in no time at all. Billabong has a huge range of species available including Ornamental pears and fruit trees, Plane trees, Flowering weepers, Silver Birch, Gleditsia and much more. Advanced plants create instant colour, effect and fill your garden as if it has been established for years. Your garden is an extension of your home and it can be revitalised and changed with a lot less effort and cost than that of building renovations. Options are endless and can be achieved with a little thought and creativity. COMPANION PLANTING
Companion planting can assist with bumper crops and pesticide free gardening. Companion plants can repel pests when planted alongside vegetables, other plants attract pest predators to the vegetable patch, and the roots of some plants secrete substances that repel pests or provide nutrients to the plants around them.
